Dr. Burns is from Southwest Michigan. She attended Western Michigan University where she obtained a bachelor's in biology and a minor in Chemistry in 2016. Dr. Burns then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and spent her clinical year at Louisiana State University completing her DVM in 2024.
Dr. Burns loves working in veterinary medicine because animals are family, and they deserve the best care we have to offer. She has special interest in exotics pet care and in small animal dentistry.
Dr. Burns is married to her husband Tim, at home they have two cats, four guinea pigs and two mice. During her free time, she enjoys painting, reading and hiking.
